You Can’t Read With Us kicked off 2018 with a change of pace: a graphic novel! I can’t speak for everyone else, but I was excited to hear we were reading “American Splendor: The Life and Times of Harvey Pekar” for multiple reasons. I dabbled in graphic novels during high school, but haven’t really revisited them in adulthood, plus this one was sure to have a ton of Cleveland history and references, subtle or explicit.
